In Hayward, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. Across California, delivery fees depend on distance, and hospitals and funeral homes have their own drop-off hours. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. Hayward is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Hayward is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Got the Harvest Sunflower basket to celebrate a new school year for my wife and it's amazing! Smells so fresh and the colors are radiant. You can tell there was some effort put into the basket. I often get my spouse flowers but I wanted to take a step up from grocery store flowers and try a local florist. I'm glad I did and I'll definitely be back!

DO NOT USE THIS FLOWER SHOP would love to leave a negative star if that was possible! I should've listened to my gut and not ordered from Karen's just based on the person that answered the phone. She was rude and seemed bored with having to do her job. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my daughter's birthday. I wanted the bouquet full of color. What they delivered void of color with the exception of peach and an orange flower with a bunch of white daisys. I'm not sure where the color went but this was not what I ordered. If you want something special for a loved one you would be better off pulling flowers from your neighbors yard.

I chose Karenβs Flower Kottage because I wanted to support a local florist, and this was actually my second order with them. Unfortunately, it will be my last. I ordered the premium version of an arrangement for my partnerβs mother in honor of her motherβs passing. The bouquet that was delivered looked significantly smaller and less full than the premium arrangement that was advertised. It was disappointing and honestly embarrassing to have sent for such an important occasion. What disappointed me even more was how my concern was handled. Rather than acknowledging my disappointment or expressing empathy for the circumstances, the initial response focused on explaining flower costs, stem pricing, labor, and the FTD recipe. It completely missed the heart of my concern, which was that the arrangement I received did not resemble the premium arrangement I paid for. After I explained that my issue wasnβt the cost but the mismatch between what was advertised and what was delivered, they did apologize for their approach. However, they still refused to consider any partial refund or offer another resolution. Instead they offered only an exchange. The problem? The flowers had already been

I honestly can't remember the last time I felt so unwelcome walking into a store. I visited this flower shop with my two-year-old son. The moment we walked in, the employee immediately came over with a visibly annoyed expression and asked, "What can I do for you?" We were completely caught off guard. It's a flower shop β aren't customers allowed to browse? When I replied that we were just looking around, she reluctantly said "okay" but continued to act irritated and unfriendly the entire time. Not once did she make us feel welcome. A flower shop should be a place that brings people joy, beauty, and a pleasant experience. Instead, this was one of the coldest and most uncomfortable retail experiences I've had in a long time. The flowers may be beautiful, but the customer service completely ruined the atmosphere. If you don't enjoy interacting with customers, perhaps retail is the wrong profession. I won't be returning.

This is what my mom received vs. What I ordered. Looks completely different, like an entire different flower arrangement. The name of the arrangement I ordered is called "Sweetberry Box" in "Deluxe" just dont see it. Too much white. I know the arrangement is not gonna look identical to the picture that I ordered off of but I don't see any resemblance. No happy with this order. I spent over $100 dollars.
